Victoria Park, NS

Well we finally hit rain so we decided it is a perfect time to drive so we are heading to Newfoundland.

We stopped at Victoria Park in Truro, Nova Scotia.

I have to say that this is one of the most impressive parks we have ever visited.

Even after our hike up to the lookout at Partridge Island, we climbed the 175 steps of Jacob’s Ladder.

The Waddell Falls were quite impressive. One can never tire of waterfalls.

After staying overnight in North Sydney, NS, we took the ferry to Newfoundland. No, we didn’t escape the rain.

Our first stop was close to Port aux Basque at Grand Bay Park. While it might have been nice to explore, the storm kept us in.

Next we found Hidden Falls (get it?) at Shear Cove.

The weather is getting better and our fingers are crossed.
