Saint Flavie and Chapelle

We marvelled at the art of Marcel Gagnon, who had created an ever-changing gathering of more than 80 life-size, reinforced concrete figures on the St. Lawrence River. The gallery displays are from several members of his family and we found it quite amazing. Well worth the stop! We drove further up the coast and stopped at Chapelle. We walked along the beach saw several whales breaching the water! We came upon some kids and their Moms, Marie-Eve and Catherine who invited us up to the village to listen to some music. It turns out that this was Anna Marleau, launching her new album, ‘Revouver le jour’.Everyone was very friendly and the community is a very close knit one.Whales, friends and music… What more can we ask for?
